Gatwick bound plane forced into an emergency landing.

Passenger terrified by bird strike. A Thomson Jet bound for Gatwick Airport was hit by a plane, passengers were left terrified. On leaving the plane one passenger remarked that were was one hell of a bang and then the cabin filled with a burning smell. Thank God the Pilot and Crew were calm and collected and did everything by the book and got us on the ground safely.
