Gatwick has the single busiest runway in the world, however it is only the second largest airport in the UK. The airport has 2 terminals north and south. Over 100 airlines fly to and from Gatwick to around 200 destinations worldwide and annual some 31 million passengers use the airport on their travels.

Both terminals have bureaux de change. The airport also has its own post office. There are also left luggage facilities on both terminals.
